So how do we keep the positive feelings flowing throughout the day?  Here are some simple things you can try –
Pay someone a compliment or words of encouragement. This could be to your partner, your work colleague or a friend who is struggling with a challenge.
Hold the door open for the person behind you.
Pick up some litter from the street or local park.
Lend a hand to someone who needs it.
Allow yourself to be a great listener.
Smile – simply make the effort to smile at strangers wherever you go, see the reaction.
Exercise – do anything that gets you moving.
Sing along to your favourite music out loud in the car.
Put music on in the house and just dance around.
Make time for yourself, “me time” is invaluable.
All these things help you to feel good and when we feel good we can move forward!
