~ Today I Choose Joy ~
We have a choice in life in what words we use and what thoughts we think. To think more positively from an inner level with ease we need to form new habits ~ turning our negativity around into positive thoughts. I’m sharing a few ideas here.
I don’t believe you have to be better than everybody else. I believe you have to be better than you ever thought you could be.
‘I’ve seen better days, but I have also seen worse.
I don’t have everything that I want, but I do have all I need.
I woke up with some aches and pains, but I woke up.
My life may not be perfect, but I am blessed.’
You might encounter extreme happiness as a result of becoming free of negativity! Try this ‘complaint-free process’ described below.
If you’re unfamiliar with the ‘complaint-free’ process, it goes like this: You get a bracelet and put it on one wrist. Every time you catch yourself complaining, you switch the bracelet to the other wrist. The objective is to go for 21 days without complaining, thereby never having to switch the bracelet. Every time you switch the bracelet, you start the journey over again at day one.
Most people who complete the 21-day period successfully took, on average, ten months. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t give it a try and that we won’t learn something in the effort, perhaps (and hopefully) forging bonds to complete the challenge however long it may take.
I encourage you to give it a go too. Choose joy. Outrageous joy!
When you wake up this week every morning tell yourself that each day things are getting better, better and better!!!
